Yesterday we choose an athlete that we are going to follow during the Olympics and today my reading group has filled out a profile for the athlete. I choose Ryan Taylor he does the 50m rifle shooting.In 2004 he came 36th. This year he is competing in the same event but he recones he is a much better shooter and recons he has a good chance for gold.

This week we have been put in groups of three and have choose a question about the Olympics that will give us some stats and my groups question is what country has won the most gold medals from the years 1908-2008? Speeches

This term we are doing speeches and I am doing mine on 'why fords are better than Holden's ' because the speech has to be a persuasive speech which is a speech that persuade someone to do something or think something. I haven't started my speech but I will be this week in class and some of the information at home.
